Using Breath For Emotional Balance, Relaxation & Self-Regulation
– A Mindful Approach to Navigating the Nervous System for Inner Calm and Mental Clarity
Mindful Breathing is a proven method to help increase focus and awareness, make it possible to self-regulate and shift attention when caught up in negative thinking and worrying. Mindfulness exercises are designed to train our awareness and the ability to stay calm under stress and turbulence as well as having better sleep and increasing resilience.
Unlearn Limiting Beliefs
This course provides a safe place where we can give ourselves permission to look at our lives with honesty without judging it good or bad and start the process of ‘putting the past in the past’ and leaving any feelings of shame or regrets behind us.
Connecting with our true selves and quieten the ‘inner critic’ is an essential part of start setting limits and be able to say no to people, things and situations that we intuitively know is not positive or helpful.
It doesn’t matter if you never have meditated or done one Mindfulness exercise in your life, this course is for anyone who are moved to establish their own Mindfulness practice and get the tools to improve focus, mental resilience and impulse control.
THE TRAINER
Rita Riccola, is one of New Zealand’s leading mindfulness trainers and author of the book “The Practice of Mindfulness and Balance,” she brings nearly 30 years of experience to this course. A former teacher with extensive training from Mindful Schools USA, Rita is a seasoned Vipassana and yoga practitioner. Her course has trained over a thousand individuals, including school teachers, life coaches, psychologists, and counselors, across New Zealand and Australia.

A 1 day face to face Mindfulness mini retreat based on the successful Mindfulness program that Mindfulness in Australia has has been running for the past 9 years. The training is based on the latest research and techniques on teaching mindfulness designed by the original MBSR members who trained with Jon Kabat-Zinn.
